We are currently seeking an experienced SAP HR and Payroll Solution Specialist for an exciting permanent opportunity based in the South West, UK.
Responsibilities in the role include:
• Responsible for the design, implementation and support of all aspects of SAP Human Capital Management (HR & Payroll) solution in relation to Business As Usual support, Continuous Improvement of existing solution and delivery of projects.
• Responsible for the accurate capture and documentation of Business requirements for Change Requests and Projects via Functional Specification, including obtaining sign off from Business representatives.
• Responsible for the definition and documentation of the SAP solution for Change Requests and Projects to meet the needs of the Functional Specification via the Technical Specification, including obtaining sign off from the SAP Application Team Manager.
• Responsible for the successful implementation of the agreed solution in SAP via the configuration of the HCM modules.
• Responsible for the handover of new/changed functionality to the Service Support Team and Employee Services to support users as required.
• Responsible for managing testing of deltas to the SAP solution including the definition and agreement of test scripts with the Business, management of the testing cycle, resolution of issues and obtaining sign off from the Business to allow release to Production.
• Work with management personnel and functional work streams to extend company template. Identify new requirements and develop appropriate extensions that align to the existing HCM solution and overall template.
• Provide second line support for the business community for Business As Usual issues and requests.
• Liaise and communicate with technical teams, including BASIS, Development and Data Management to ensure requirements are delivered to project timelines
Main Duties:
• Work with the Business Teams to ensure requirements are identified, rationalised and an appropriate solution provided
• Act as “best practice” HCM advisor
• Realise intended changes to solution template, to agreed standards (including documentation and testing) and timelines
• Work across work streams and with integration management to ensure HCM solution continues to fit within the overall design
• Update and maintain configuration documentation to reflect solution
• Provision of second line support for businesses currently live with the SAP solution
• Liaise and advise training team members on changes to the design so as to ensure that training material/courses are fully aligned to solution and support delivery of training as required
• Liaise with authorisations consultant to ensure business roles reflect business process requirements
• Work with technical team to capture interface and development requirements as they arise through the roll-out process. Documentation will include functional and technical specifications to be completed.
• Work with technical team to capture and execute testing requirements for interfaces and developments
• Fully involved in planning and executing configuration testing cycles
• Support data migration team in designing, mapping and evaluating mapped data
• Evaluate and prepare relevant change control requests for PMO assessment
• Act as a specialist within the SAP project team.
• Any other tasks as required.
Essential Experience
• Experience of HCM integration with Procurement, Finance & Controlling, Sales and Distribution and Project Systems modules in SAP.
• Ideally educated to a degree level or equivalent.
• Able and willing to travel as required to support the requirements of the role.
Advantageous Experience
• SAP HCM implementation experience with at least 3 full life cycle experiences involving multi-site and multi company deploiyment.
• Good knowledge of implementation methodologies, processes and tools
