Job Summary & Responsibilities
Java Web Services Architect - VP (Java, Spring, HTML, Web Architect)
• Technical oversight for 2-4 developers.
• Building consensus with CTO on platform architecture.
• Working for CRM/ Client Platform product owner to understand the business requirements the platform must meet.
• Collaborating with Project manager to manage technical risk through sprint prioritization.
• Involvement in the TPG Technical Strategy group, driving key technical themes across GIR BU (e.g. Testing, Service Architecture and Cloud deployment).
Qualifications of the Java Web Services Architect (Java, Spring, HTML, Web Architect)
Basic Qualifications
• SOA and/ or Microservices experience, preferably using Spring, Jersey.
• Excellent core Java skills.
• Demonstrated achievements in driving testing excellence through your platforms.
• Demonstrated service design & architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience of web/ html5 technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, websockets) & platforms (JAX-RS/ Jersey, tomcat, Vert.X).
• Experience working with (or alongside) mobile clients.
• Experience of messaging-oriented platforms (AMQP/ Rabbit, JMS).
