IT Project Manager - £60k + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager for a worldwide household name based in Kent (UK). The company work within Specialist Automotive and the company has been featured on BBC, CNN and The Financial Times. The company are working on high profile projects across the world. The Project Manager is a very important hire to the company and this is an urgent role.
You will be managing a team of Developers, testers and business analysts in a Microsoft environment using C#, SQL and .NET for the development. We are ideally looking for someone with SCRUM and or Prince2 certification. The office is easily commutable by car with excellent links to the M25 & M23 with free onsite parking.
The company work in a Agile and Scrum environment so the Project Manager should have prior experience in managing a Project team in an Agile environment. We are looking for a Project Managers to lead and direct predominately complex bespoke Software projects mixed in with other Content Provision (to digital media), Operational ad Maintenance projects.
The successful project manager will have:
- Proven track record of end to end software project management delivery.
- Solid stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to lead teams effectively with a good understanding of general technology concepts.
- Strong experience working in projects as project team member or leader.
- Experience of delivering projects in an Agile environment.
As a project manager you responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Helping stakeholders (project owner) compile and prioritise backlogs of required features for Sprints
- Ensure that non‐functional requirements are gathered and planned for
- stakeholders think through details and implications
- Test the understanding and expectations of all stakeholders, and then test again!
- Evaluate requirements and translate visions and commercial goals into “buildable”
