Due to the need for additional resource to support SAP implementation projects within the EMEA Business Applications Group, a vacancy has arisen for a SAP FICO Consultant.
As the SAP FICO Consultant you will ensure the effective operation of the SAP R3 business application in support of the exploitation and development of SAP and the associated financial processes. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a formal Accounting Qualification and detailed knowledge of the SAP R3 Financial modules including configuration skills.
Working within the Business Applications Group you will be the technical and process expert for the financial aspects of the SAP R3 business application, carrying out problem / fault diagnosis and resolution to maximise the availability and efficiency of the system.
With an ability to identify system and process improvements, you will also lead the successful implementation of them. Using your SAP configuration and process knowledge you will be able to analyse business requirements and manage the delivery of projects to meet these.
To be successful in this role you will have strong influencing and communication skills and a high results orientation. You must also have experience of working within a Finance function and of Project Management. Experience of working within an international manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an advantage.
The role will be based in the UK (North East or North West), however, you must be willing and able to work at each of their business locations across Europe, as required.
