The Enterprise Architect (Enterprise Architect, Architect, Architecture) Role overview
In this pivotal role within our Enterprise Strategy business, you’ll deliver advisory and planning services to our client’s top enterprise customers. The Enterprise Architect enables customers to achieve their most challenging business and organizational goals whilst leveraging maximum value from their current and future investments in Microsoft technologies. Through a programmatic approach and objective assessment of the customer’s existing business imperatives and IT investments, the Enterprise Architect systematically plans, orchestrates, and contributes to the development and execution of their strategic technology initiatives so that they align with their broader business goals in an innovative fashion. Key focus areas for us
• Relationships. As the primary delivery resource for the Enterprise Strategy business, what you provide is unique and available only from our client. You’ll advocate on behalf of the customer back into the consulting services company organization and maximize the value delivered from the relationship.
• Architecture & Consulting. The role takes a principled approach first to understand the customer’s needs and then to develop roadmaps of change that realize value from their Microsoft investment across a heterogeneous IT environment.
• Collaboration. When a customer makes a strategic investment in Microsoft technology, the Enterprise Architect accelerates the time-to-value by aligning the technology deployment and business adoption plans with the customer’s broader organizational objectives.
• Pushing the boundaries. In this role you’ll contribute to the growth and maturity of the local and international Microsoft communities by providing leadership, mentorship, fostering IP development/knowledge transfer, and through leading by example.
• Technology. We love all technology and we love to recruit passionate technologists. You will have breadth of experience across all areas of IT and at least one specialism from the following: Windows tablets & apps, Office 365/Cloud, Enterprise Social & collaboration, consumerisation of IT, Windows client deployment, Azure and Hyper-v, mission critical (BI, Big Data) and business solutions (ERP). An appreciation of the Microsoft technology stack and an ability to articulate it in terms of the business value that it brings to organisations is essential.
Requirements for the Enterprise Architect (Enterprise Architect, Architect, Architecture) role:
You will have a proven record of working with senior executives, defining and delivering business value from IT. You will be currently operating as a CTO, Chief Architect or Senior Enterprise Architect (or equivalent roles) and have responsibility for advising on IT strategy and architecture. We need passionate people – you will have a deep understanding of markets, industries, business, customers, and technology. This role is broad and challenging therefore you will have experience of assessment and analysis, design, business case development, architecture, envisioning, planning, deployment, benefits analysis, and management.
